KEAR provided fuel construction services for extensive modifications to the existing fueling system at AASF, Concord. The scope of work included demoing and removing the existing underground fuel piping and performing subsurface investigations with NHDEP to verify if any contamination was present. Once the area was deemed clean by the NHDEP, KEAR fabricated on-site and installed new double-walled underground fuel piping equipped with a new OMNTEC leak detection and controls system. In addition, 2 AST’s and fueling skids were completely modified and upgraded by KEAR with new automated control valves at the tanks, water and leak detection sensors and probes, thermal relief valves, double block and bleed valves, back-pressure control valves and a new product recovery tank and pump.
