KEAR was proud to provide construction services on the ADAL WWTP Expansion project at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico. The project was designed by CH2MHill and administered by the Albuquerque District of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The project expanded the existing WWTP to handle a capacity of one million gallons per day with the construction of a new 250,000-gallon aerobic digester and the conversion of the existing aerobic digester into a sequencing batch reactor (SBR). The new aerobic digester was constructed to support all SBR’s to include new railings, new diffuser assemblies, larger blowers, plumbing and electronic control systems. The project included an upgrade to a larger transformer and an emergency power generator to support electrical requirements. The existing headworks, grit and grease collection systems were upgraded, along with a new partial flume and lift station. KEAR received an “Outstanding” performance evaluation on this project by the US Army Corps of Engineers – the highest overall rating achievable through the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS).
