As the prime contractor, KEAR constructed a new chlorine dioxide facility for the City of Flagstaff at the Lake Mary Water Treatment Plant. The new masonry building addition houses a new chlorine dioxide system for treatment of raw water from Lake Mary. The project included the building addition, all chlorine equipment, electrical upgrades, instrumentation and control upgrades, asphalt paving, 2 injection vaults and 2000 lf. of 4″ HDPE pipe. The project was completed both on schedule and under the City of Flagstaff’s budget.
