KEAR was contracted to construct a new aviation fuel farm for the City of Las Cruces at Las Cruces International Airport. The project included the installation of a new 12,000-gallon AVGAS and 12,000-gallon Jet-A bulk fueling facility. Each 12,000-gallon tank included a load/unload equipment skid, canopy, and tank access. Along with the 2 new AST’s KEAR constructed a new truck loading and unloading pad/containment area, mechanical equipment pads, tank support foundations, concrete stormwater containment basin with pump, site fencing and site roadway improvements. As part of the project the existing fuel farm was demolished which included existing AST’s, piping and electrical.
