KEAR was selected as the hydrant fuel system contractor for the Concourse Modernization project at Memphis International Airport. The fuel system modifications were completed simultaneously with concourse upgrades which consisted of placing 25 passenger boarding bridges (PBBs) into a final configuration on the modernized Concourse B building. This project was broken into three phases of work and KEAR performed all required hydrant fuel system work necessary to activate the new PBB’s. KEAR’s scope included new hydrant fuel pits, new lateral piping along with all required tie-in’s, testing and final system flushing.
